On October 29th, 2020, the 5,000th vehicle of this month rolled off the production line at the Hefei Advanced Manufacturing Base of NIO. This is the first time that the monthly production capacity of the vehicle exceeds 5,000 units.

On October 23, Internet auto service provider Bitauto announced that the company's shareholders voted to approve the privatization proposal at its annual meeting. According to the announcement, shareholders representing approximately 88.9% of Bitauto's total outstanding shares voted in person or by proxy, with each shareholder having one vote for each share of common stock. Ultimately, the shareholders approved the privatization agreement with approximately 99.9% of the votes cast in favor of the privatization agreement. Bitauto will work with the other parties to the privatization agreement to try to satisfy the closing conditions and close the transaction in a timely manner. NIO Life is once again collaborating with Chinese brand Red and Double Happiness on a co-branded product, after releasing sports equipment such as ping pong bats and badminton bats around Children's Day, but this time it's the popular "National Trend Sport". On the morning of October 9, NIO announced the opening of its headquarters in Hefei, the economic and opening block of the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone. In September 2020, NIO delivered 4,708 units overall, the first time the number of deliveries exceeded 4,000 in a single month, an increase of 133% YoY.  The ES8 delivered 1,482 units (+405% YoY), the ES6 delivered 3,210 units (+86% YoY). The EC6 delivered 16 units in its first month of delivery. So far this year, 26,375 units have been delivered.
