NIO Releases NIO OS 2.7.0 in October

On September 26th, Nio unveiled NIO OS version 2.7.0 at the 2020 Beijing Auto Show, the new version of the system adds Navigate on Pilot (NOP) pilot assist function, which will be pushed out in mid-October. 

At the same time, Nio also unveiled an upgrade plan for its destination fast-charging station service, which will further expand the openness of Nio's recharge system and continue to improve the recharging experience for all EV users. 

It is understood that the pilot assist function will be pushed to users in batches via FOTA (remote firmware upgrade) in October with the upgrade of NIOOS 2.7.0. In addition to NOP, the upgrade will also launch nearly 20 new and optimized functions such as camera-based driver fatigue warning, remote seat ventilation, 5.1 immersive surround sound, etc. to bring more relaxing and pleasant driving experience. 

According to NIo, NOP Pilot Assist is a fusion of in-car navigation and NIOPilot, which can realize automatic ramp entry and exit, turn signal, overtaking, merging and cruise speed adjustment in highway and expressway environment according to the navigation plan.
